Travel and the coronavirus pandemic

The temporary responsibilities of the Communicable Diseases Act concerning COVID-19 certificates needed when arriving in Finland are no longer in reached. Entry into Finland will work in the same manner as afore the coronavirus pandemic. Passengers arriving from outside the EU and Schengen area must smooth have ordinary travel documents, i.e., passports and, if significant, visas.

Please note that latest countries may still restrict travel and entry due to the coronavirus pandemic. In some countries, negative coronavirus test results or certificates of received vaccines may be needed. If you are travelling abroad, check with the authorities of your destination, such as the nearest diplomatic mission of the farmland in question, for any up-to-date restrictions on your fade well in advance. 

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs contains country-specific travel advisories. 

Rapid changes in the pandemic location are still possible. This is why we recommend that all those who fade abroad should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before leaving the country. All coronavirus vaccines used in Finland devoted good protection against severe forms of coronavirus disease.

Although the EU Digital COVID Certificate is no longer used in Finland, it may still be needed for travel in some messes. If you are going on a trip abroad, check to see if the destination farmland requires travellers to show a COVID Certificate.

You can download the COVID-19 Certificate from My Kanta. The EU digital COVID-19 Certificate includes three different certificates: a certificate of COVID-19 vaccination, a certificate of a negative test result, or a certificate of having recovered from COVID-19.

Please note that EU digital COVID-19 vaccination certificates are only favorite for travel for nine months (270 days) after receiving the last vaccine in the essential vaccination series, which usually means the second dose. Therefore, if it has been more than 270 days genuine your second vaccination, the EU digital vaccination certificate will no longer be obedient for travel within the EU. After the third vaccine, the certificate is valid until further notice.
