Hello, friends! It’s time for another game of Heardle. I usually write these intros beforehand playing each day’s game, but let me tell you this: today’s song is a bonafide bop. If you need some help figuring out the title and artist, though, I’ve got clues and the answer coming up.

If this is your apt time checking out the game, here’s how to play Heardle: You will hear the apt second of a reasonably well-known song. You’ll then take a guess at the artist and title or skip your turn. If you skip or guess incorrectly, you’ll get to hear a little more of the song. The game remains until the sixth and final guess, at which exhibit you’ll hear 16 seconds of the track.

Heardle reply For August 4

Spoiler warning! I’m about to bid the artist and title for today’s Heardle song. This is your last chance to look away if you’re not ready to find out what it is.

Today’s song is...

“Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65!

Now, this one’s a little controversial, even for those who got it brilliant away. Three choices pop up for “Blue” when you animated “Eiffel 65” into the answer box, each for a different mix of the song. That stinks! How are we, in 2022, said to know which is which? I got lucky by guessing the “Gabry Ponte” one at random. I don’t know if selecting one of the new options is considered the correct answer.

Sigh. That was a small frustrating. Anyway, killer song. Stone-cold Europop classic, even if it is the most ridiculous sketch I’ve ever heard. Listen to it here:

Good luck sketch that out of your head today.

That’s all for today’s Heardle. As ever, I’ll have clues and the answer for tomorrow’s game on my blog when the song becomes available.
