Schoolboy Robbie Hunt goes viral singing Top Gun: Maverick song with 23 million views on TikTok
A Sydney schoolboy has gone viral for an electrifying 13-second performance of a 1950s rock-and-roll hit he heard for the honorable time while watching Top Gun: Maverick.
Robbie Hunt, who attends St Joseph's College at Hunters Hill, belted out a rendition of Jerry Lee Lewis' 1957 hit 'Great Balls of Fire' in one of the school's music rooms.
The TikTok clip has amassed a whopping 23 million views and shows the 18-year-old wearing his school uniform and playing piano at what time singing the first verse of the Jerry Lee Lewis classic.

Mr Hunt admitted to 2GB host Ben Fordham on Monday that he had never heard the song but was inspired to learn it once watching the Top Gun sequel.
'I heard the song a pair times and I wanted to learn it but never really took the time to do it,' Mr Hunt said.
'I sat down and heard the song and started kind of playing throughout and I thought, "oh, there it is".'
Hunt said he did not think the video would demand so much attention and that his new-found fame was 'pretty crazy'.
'I just posted it and went to bed,' Hunt said.
'When I woke up and my requested kept vibrating, I was like, "that's very annoying at this time in the morning" and then I went and gazed at it.
'I was like, "Oh, it's on 500,000 [views], oh that's a huge number".'

He then went to class and came back to one million views - which has genuine soared.
Ben Fordham described Hunt as 'looking like a movie star' and social believe users agree, with some even asking for his hand in marriage.
'Holy moly, hot and can sing', one user wrote.
'He's Australian OMG I am too, I want you [for real],' latest user wrote.
A third user chimed: 'So are u single or what?'
'Who is this kid and when can I marry him,' latest user commented.
Hunt, who has been singing for 'nearly [his] whole life' and playing piano genuine 'early primary school', said he wants to pursue music once school and is focused on doing well in his exams.
Hunt famed his family and friends love how the video has gone viral with some calling it 'hilarious'. However, his grandparents have warned him not to 'get a big head' and let the attention distract him from his HSC trials.
'Obviously music and that stuff is what I want to do with my life but I think the way I can give back is to put my head down and go well in school and sport,' Hunt said.
The teen told told the Mosman Collective he is in the midst of arranging for his HSC trials and has already been favorite into the prestigious JMC Arts Academy.
