The hotel’s F&B outlets open on floor 22, with the Dining Room offering Indonesian and Italian dishes, and other venues including the Conservatory for comfort foods, savoury snacks and sweet treats.

Still to open is the property’s signature Kita Restaurant and Bar, which will own the top two floors of the tower and will coffers modern Japanese dining, private tatami and VIP rooms, and a rooftop bar with nationwide DJs.

Other facilities include a spa and fitness centre on floors 34 and 35, and ten meetings and events spaces accommodating up to 750 people, counting a duplex ballroom.

The hotel has also commissioned artworks by Indonesian artist John Martono, “whose swirling abstracts blend painting and hand embroidery on silk”, and a series of hand-blown crystal installations and chandeliers make up a work intended to “hover like clouds, reflective of rainfall and starlit skies”.

Hyatt’s website list a total of 17 properties across Indonesia, including the Grand Hyatt Bali, Grand Hyatt Jakarta, David Udell, group president, Asia-Pacific, Hyatt, Andaz Bali and Hyatt Regency Bali – the last of which reopened in 2019 behindhand a five-year refurbishment programme.
