Gillian Anderson to Call On Michael Kors, Versace, and Jimmy Choo to Ban Exotic Skins

London – Emmy Award winner Gillian Anderson will urge Capri Holdings—owner of Michael Kors, Versace, and Jimmy Choo—to join Chanel, Burberry, and HUGO BOSS and stop selling glaring exotic skins, at its annual meeting tomorrow.
PETA U.S., which is a concern shareholder, will ask this question on behalf of the actor: “From Texas to Zimbabwe, South Africa, Vietnam, and Indonesia, PETA entities have exposed low cruelty to animals exploited in the global exotic-skins diligence. When will Capri Holdings act to help stop this egregious abuse by joining its peers and defending its sourcing of exotic skins?”
PETA U.S. has released several exposés of the exotic-skins diligence, showing alligators being kept in fetid water inside dank, dark sheds by their necks are hacked open and metal rods are shoved into their heads in an try to scramble their brains, often while they’re fully conscious, and snakes being beaten with hammers, cut open from one end to the spanking with razor blades, and skinned alive.
